We have a real soft spot for Mini Doxies, also known as Miniature Dachshunds, at The Puppy Lodge. Playful at heart, loving by nature, and loyal in spirit, they’re wonderful for families and watchful as small guardians. Their long backs, short legs, and spirited character quickly charm everyone they meet. We produce litters with coats in both short-haired and long-haired forms. We offer puppies in both solid and patterned colors, including Black, Blue, Chocolate, Cream, Tan, Red, Sable, Dapple, and Merle. Once fully grown, most of our puppies weigh less than 13 pounds and do well in any home size.

The difference doesn’t stop there; we also take excellent care of our puppies from birth, by following the Purdue University Certified Breeder Program and following and exceeding their Canine Care Standards. We provide climate-controlled comfort in our kennel, plus indoor and outdoor play areas for puppies. We perform five minutes of (ENS) Early Neurological Stimulation daily on every puppy from day 3 through day 16. Puppies that receive this nervous system stimulation gain a marked advantage over those that don’t.
As our puppies age, they gain socialization from playing outdoors, being with family, and meeting other dogs. It works to build their muscle strength while improving how they socialize with people and dogs. We encourage puppy buyers to come by and see our facilities and how we care for our dogs.
