Mini Doxiedoodle Puppies for Sale in Georgia

Our Mini Doxiedoodle puppies for sale in Georgia come from The Puppy Lodge, a family run program on a five acre farm in Fresno, Ohio. The Nisley family has raised dogs for more than thirteen years, and every puppy we place is a Miniature Dachshund crossed with a Miniature Poodle, out of parent dogs we own and have health and genetically tested.

Georgia sits roughly nine to thirteen hours south of us by road. The northwest corner around Dalton and Rome is the short end of that, and Savannah or Valdosta is the long end. Either way the whole state falls inside a one to two day run for our transport drivers, and Atlanta gives us one of the easiest flight routes in the country if you would rather have your puppy home the same afternoon.

A Mini Doxiedoodle is a small dog with a big personality. They run 10 to 20 pounds and stand 8 to 12 inches at the shoulder, with a wavy to curly coat that sheds very little. They are clever, chatty, and they stick close to their people. For a fuller picture of the cross before you go further, read our complete guide to Mini Doxiedoodles.

Available Mini Doxiedoodle Puppies

These are the Mini Doxiedoodle puppies available right now. Prices run $1,495 to $2,995 depending on coat type, color, and gender. Each one goes home at eight weeks or older with a written three year health guarantee on genetic and congenital conditions, a veterinary exam from Danville Veterinary Clinic, a microchip, current vaccinations and dewormings, registration, a bag of the food it has been eating, and a blanket carrying its mother's scent.

You can reserve a puppy on this page with a $200 deposit, and financing through Credova is available if you would rather spread the cost out. We do not run a waitlist, so puppies go first come, first served and one listed this morning can be spoken for by dinner. If none of these fit, we post upcoming litters you can claim a pick from before the puppies arrive. We deliver anywhere in Georgia, and we work out how your puppy travels on a phone call once the deposit is in.

Mini Doxiedoodle delivered to Georgia

Mini Doxiedoodle Puppy Delivery to Georgia

There are three ways to get a puppy from our Ohio farm to Georgia. You do not pick one at checkout. We talk it through by phone after your puppy is reserved and settle on whatever fits your week.

Home delivery by climate controlled van. This is what most Georgia families choose. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, riding in its own carrier, with a veterinary check before the trip and updates from the driver on the way. The flat fee to Georgia is around $350. Metro Atlanta and everything north of it usually lands next day, while the drive down to Macon, Columbus, Albany, or the coast can push into a second day depending on the route the driver takes. Nobody has to sit in airport traffic, and the puppy comes to your door.

Flight nanny through Atlanta and other Georgia airports. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them in an airline approved soft carrier, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at the airport. Most of these are done same day. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International is the obvious choice and about as easy a route as we have anywhere, since flights out of Columbus, Cleveland, and Akron-Canton run there constantly. Savannah/Hilton Head International, Augusta Regional, Middle Georgia Regional in Macon, and Columbus Airport also work. The cost is quoted per flight because it depends on the route and the day. Your puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old and under 20 pounds including the carrier, which a Mini Doxiedoodle clears easily, and we handle the health certificate before travel. Summer afternoon storms around Atlanta can shift a departure time, so build in a little flexibility.

Pickup at the Ohio farm. You are welcome to come get your puppy in Fresno by appointment. You can meet the mother, walk through the kennel, and go over the health guarantee, microchip registration, and vaccine record in person before you leave. From north Georgia it is close to a nine hour drive and from Savannah closer to thirteen, so it is a real commitment, though some families fold it into a trip they were already taking north.

For most of Georgia we would point you to home delivery. The van gets there quickly at a fixed price, and you never leave the house. If you are in or near Atlanta and want the puppy today rather than tomorrow, the flight nanny option is worth the extra cost. One thing that makes this cross easy either way is that Mini Doxiedoodles have none of the airline restrictions that flat faced breeds run into, so both options stay open to you.

A Mini Doxiedoodle Puppy Breeder Serving Georgia

Our license from the USDA is a broker license. The Puppy Lodge owns every parent dog behind our puppies, with the occasional outside stud being the only exception and held to the same testing. Litters are raised across a small closed network of local kennels near our farm by breeders who work only with our dogs and follow our health testing, genetic testing, and breeding standards. No puppy comes from outside that circle. Our veterinarian from Danville Veterinary Clinic visits on a set weekly schedule to check the adult dogs and the newborn litters.

Because we raise Miniature Dachshunds and Miniature Poodles as separate tested programs of our own, we know the history on both sides of every Mini Doxiedoodle pairing. That matters more with this cross than with most. The Dachshund side carries a genuine risk of spinal disc disease, so we look closely at structure when we decide which dogs to pair, and our three year guarantee covers genetic and congenital conditions including spinal ones along with hips and elbows. Puppies go through the ENS handling protocol from day three through day sixteen, get daily play and handling from the kids, and start on potty and crate training before they leave at eight weeks.

Nine to thirteen hours is a long way, and there are breeders closer to you. What you get for the distance is a program where the parents are owned and tested rather than sourced, where the same vet sees every litter, and where you can ask about a specific pairing and get an answer. You can also see the puppy on a FaceTime call before you commit, which puts you in front of the dog faster than a drive to a kennel two counties over. Give us a call or text at 330-790-5007 and we will tell you what we have coming.

Mini Doxiedoodle FAQs Of Georgia Families

Q: How much grooming does the coat need in Georgia humidity?

A: Plan on brushing several times a week and a professional groom every six to eight weeks. Humidity is the part Georgia owners notice, because a wavy or curly coat that stays damp mats faster, especially at the ears, legs, and belly. Drying the coat after a swim or a walk in the rain solves most of it. Spring pine pollen is worth mentioning too, since a low shedding coat holds onto what it picks up and a quick wipe down at the door keeps it out of the house.

Q: What should I know about back problems with this cross?

A: The Dachshund side brings a real risk of intervertebral disc disease, and we would rather say that plainly than skate past it. Puppies that inherit the longer body carry more of that predisposition than the ones built more like the Poodle side. Keeping the dog lean is the single biggest thing you control, along with using ramps for the couch and bed, limiting repeated jumping and stair work, and walking on a harness instead of a collar. If you are in a two story townhouse in Atlanta or a raised coastal house near Savannah, a set of steps for the furniture and a little patience on the stairs goes a long way.

Q: Will one bark too much for an apartment or an HOA neighborhood?

A: They are vocal. For a small dog they make surprisingly good watchdogs, and they will announce the delivery driver, the elevator, and the squirrel on the balcony rail. It is manageable with early training that teaches them barking has a stopping point, and plenty live happily in Midtown and Buckhead apartments. If your building or HOA is strict about noise, go in knowing this is a chatty cross rather than a quiet one.

Q: How hot is too hot for a walk here?

A: These are small dogs close to the ground, so pavement heat reaches them faster than it does a taller dog. From June through September we would walk early in the morning or after the sun drops, and put a hand on the asphalt or concrete first to check it. They only need 30 to 45 minutes of activity a day and a good chunk of that can be indoor play, a puzzle toy, or a short training session, which is handy on the days the heat index makes going outside pointless.

Q: Do they shed, and will one work with my allergies?

A: Shedding is low, not zero, and no dog is fully hypoallergenic. The curlier coat holds loose hair instead of dropping it, which means less dander moving around the house, and that is often enough for mild to moderate allergies and often not enough for severe ones. F1b puppies have more Poodle behind them and usually carry the tightest curl and the least shedding. Spending time around one is the only way to know for sure, so tell us about the allergy when you call and we will point you toward the puppies most likely to suit.

Q: Can I see a puppy before I commit from this far away?

A: Yes. We do FaceTime calls so you can watch the puppy move around, see the litter, and ask questions in the moment instead of working off photos. You are also welcome at the farm by appointment if you want to make the drive up, Monday through Saturday between 9 and 6. Either way, call or text 330-790-5007 and we will set it up.
