The Pomsky is a designer breed created by crossing a Siberian Husky with a Pomeranian. Because of the size difference between the two parent breeds, responsible Pomsky litters are produced through artificial insemination with the Husky as the mother. The first documented Pomsky litter in the United States was born in 2012, making this a relatively new breed that has gained popularity fast. Their appearance often resembles a miniature Husky with the thick double coat, erect ears, and expressive eyes that their parent is known for.
