Reputable Mini Doxiedoodle Breeder Serving Noblesville, IN

When you're looking for Mini Doxiedoodle puppies for sale in Noblesville, Indiana, the Poodle side of this cross gives them a winter advantage that a purebred Dachshund doesn't have. That wavy-to-curly coat provides insulation that a short-coated Dachshund can't match. Winter walks are more comfortable, quick trips outside in the cold don't bother them as much, and they handle Noblesville's temperature better than their Dachshund parent would on their own. A purebred Dachshund in Noblesville needs a jacket from November through March and still wants to be back inside as fast as possible. A Doxiedoodle has enough Poodle coat to handle moderate cold with less fuss. Add a jacket on the coldest days, and they're set for anything Noblesville's winter throws at them. The Dachshund personality is still there. They still prefer being inside with you. But they don't dread the outdoor trips the way a short-coated dog does. Every Mini Doxiedoodle puppy from us has healthy, genetically tested parents, is raised with Early Neurological Stimulation, and is backed by our 3-year health guarantee. We deliver through flight nannies to your local airport, ground delivery right to your door, or you can pick up in person at our farm.

Why Noblesville Families Choose The Puppy Lodge for Their Mini Doxiedoodle

When you’re buying a designer breed like the Mini Doxiedoodle, knowing where both sides of the cross come from is everything. A lot of breeders producing Dachshund-Poodle mixes are working with parent dogs they don’t know much about. We raise both Miniature Dachshunds and Miniature Poodles ourselves, so we know the health, temperament, and genetics on both sides of every litter. All of our parent dogs are healthy and genetically tested. That means we can tell you exactly what to expect from your puppy, which is rare with a cross that can be unpredictable when the breeding isn’t done right.

Mini Doxiedoodles are smart, affectionate dogs that pick up on everything around them. That intelligence needs to be put to work early with socialization and positive interaction, or it can turn into boredom and possible bad habits. Our kids are in with the puppies every day from the time they’re born, playing with them and getting them used to being handled by people of all ages. We’re a family of nine with over 13 years of experience raising puppies, and that gives every puppy a head start on life in a real family environment. Every puppy also undergoes Early Neurological Stimulation between days 3 and 16, which builds stronger cardiovascular development, stress tolerance, and immune response before they ever leave our farm.

Our puppies are raised in our climate-controlled kennel, with heated tile floors in winter and geothermal cooling in summer. Our adults and puppies have access to large outdoor play areas on our five-acre farm in Central Ohio. We’re certified through the Purdue University Canine Care Program, one of the few breeders in the country to hold that distinction, and our vet at Danville Veterinary Clinic visits every week. We stand behind every puppy with a 3-year health guarantee. Every puppy comes up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and with a blanket carrying mom’s scent. We welcome visitors by appointment and deliver puppies nationwide right to your door.

About Mini Doxiedoodles

The Mini Doxiedoodle is a designer breed created by crossing a Miniature Dachshund with a Miniature Poodle. You may also see this mix referred to as a Doxiepoo, Doxipoo, Dachdoodle, or Dachshundoodle. This is a relatively new crossbreed that started gaining popularity in the United States in the early 2000s as part of the growing interest in Poodle mixes, prized for combining the Poodle’s intelligence and low shedding coat with the traits of other popular breeds. Mini Doxiedoodles are small dogs that typically weigh 10 to 20 pounds and stand 8 to 12 inches tall at the shoulder, though size can vary depending on the individual parents. Their appearance is one of the more unpredictable things about the mix. They may inherit the Dachshund’s longer body and shorter legs, the Poodle’s more proportional build, or something in between, and even puppies within the same litter can look quite different from one another. Their coat is usually wavy to curly, thanks to the Poodle influence, and tends to be low shedding, which makes them a good option for families looking for a more allergy friendly dog. Regular coat brushing several times a week and professional grooming around every six to eight weeks will keep their coat in good shape. In terms of personality, Mini Doxiedoodles are smart, affectionate, and full of character. They bond closely with their families and love being involved in whatever is going on around them. They are playful and social and usually do well with children and other pets when socialized early. They inherit intelligence from both parent breeds and learn really quickly, though the Dachshund side can bring a touch of stubbornness, so consistent positive reinforcement training from a young age works best. They can be vocal and make surprisingly alert little watchdogs despite their size. Mini Doxiedoodles have moderate energy levels and need about 30 to 45 minutes of basic exercise daily, including walks and playtime, along with some basic mental stimulation to keep them happy and out of trouble. Their compact size and adaptable nature make them well suited for apartments and smaller homes as well as larger spaces. With proper care, exercise, a balanced diet, and regular vet visits, Mini Doxiedoodles typically live 12 to 15 years.

Want to learn More About Us and Our Mini Doxiedoodles?

Dachshunds were bred to hunt badgers underground and make decisions without a handler. That independence is still wired into your Doxiepoo, and our Mini Doxiedoodle guide explains how to work with it instead of against it. Avoid putting your puppy on the ground at busy rest stops where other dogs have been. Their vaccine series is not yet complete at eight weeks, and our delivery guide covers the safer approach for bathroom breaks on the drive home to Noblesville. Puppies sleep fourteen to eighteen hours a day, and if your Doxiepoo starts getting mouthy or wild, they are probably telling you they need a nap. Our puppy guide covers how to read those signals and use the crate the right way.
