Mini Doxiedoodle Puppies for Sale in New York

If you have been looking for Mini Doxiedoodle puppies for sale in New York, our puppies come from a five acre farm in Fresno, Ohio, and New York sits close enough that most of them arrive at their new homes the day after they leave us. Western New York is the nearest corner, roughly a five hour drive from our place in Coshocton County. Syracuse and Albany fall in the middle of that range, and the ride out to New York City or Long Island runs closer to nine or ten hours.

The Mini Doxiedoodle is a Miniature Dachshund crossed with a Miniature Poodle. Adults usually settle between 10 and 20 pounds and stand 8 to 12 inches at the shoulder, with a wavy to curly coat that sheds very little. They are bright, affectionate, and talkative, and they want to be part of whatever the family is doing. The Poodle side gives them a quick mind and a willingness to work with you. The Dachshund side gives them stubborn streaks and a nose that decides where a walk is going. If you are still learning the cross, our complete Mini Doxiedoodle guide covers size, coat, temperament, and health in more depth.

Available Mini Doxiedoodle Puppies

The puppies below are the ones we have ready to go right now. Pricing for this cross runs between $1,495 and $2,995 depending on coat type, color, and gender, and any of them can be reserved online with a $200 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, though it transfers if you change your mind and choose a different available puppy. We do not run a waitlist, so a puppy you like today can be claimed by another family this afternoon.

Every puppy goes home at 8 weeks or older, vet checked, microchipped, current on vaccinations and dewormings, and covered by a written three year health guarantee. We are happy to do a FaceTime call so you can see a puppy before committing, and financing through Credova is there if the timing works better that way. Once a puppy is reserved, we sort out how it gets to New York on a phone call.

Mini Doxiedoodle Delivery to New York

Three options, and we settle on one after your puppy is reserved rather than at checkout. That way we can look at where you actually live and what your week looks like.

Home delivery is what most New York families choose and what we would suggest for the majority of the state. The fee is $350 anywhere in New York, from Chautauqua County out to the eastern end of Long Island. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate-controlled van, riding in its own carrier with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. New York is on the East Coast run, so these are usually next-day trips. Nobody has to find parking at an airport or take a day off.

Flight nanny service is the fastest way to get a puppy home, and it fits this breed well. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside her in an airline-approved soft carrier, never in cargo, and hands it to you at arrivals. Mini Doxiedoodles are comfortably under the 20 pound limit that includes the carrier, and because they are not a flat-faced breed the airline restrictions that complicate other dogs do not apply. Most of these are same-day. We fly into John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia for the city and Long Island, Long Island MacArthur and Westchester County for families who would rather skip the city entirely, and Buffalo Niagara International, Greater Rochester International, Syracuse Hancock International, and Albany International upstate. The puppy needs a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian before travel, which we arrange, and some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight and runs higher than the ground rate.

Farm pickup makes sense if you are in the western part of the state. From Jamestown, Dunkirk, or Buffalo the drive to Fresno is around five hours, which is a long day but a doable one, and you get to tour the kennel, meet the puppy's mother, and go through the health records and microchip registration with us before you leave. You will take home a bag of the food the puppy is already eating and a blanket that carries its mother's scent. Visits are by appointment, Monday through Saturday.

One note that applies to all three. Because this cross can inherit the long Dachshund back, we send every puppy with a harness recommendation rather than a collar and we ask that whoever picks the puppy up supports the hind end when lifting. It is a small habit that matters over the years.

About Our Mini Doxiedoodle Puppy Breeder Program Serving New York

The Puppy Lodge is run by the Nisley family, all nine of us, on a farm in central Ohio. We have been raising dogs for more than 13 years and have many Google reviews from families who have taken puppies home. We own every parent dog behind our litters, and each one has been individually genetically tested and chosen for temperament, health, pedigree, and color genetics. Litters are raised across a closed network of nearby kennels that work only with our dogs and follow our health testing and breeding standards, along with the original kennel here in Fresno. No puppy we sell comes from anywhere outside that network.

For the Mini Doxiedoodle specifically, we run the Miniature Dachshund and the Miniature Poodle as separate health-tested programs, so both sides of any pairing have a known history behind them. Structure gets weighed in every pairing decision, because the Dachshund side carries a documented risk of spinal disc disease and body build is part of what drives it. We do not pretend that risk away. What we do is test the parents, pay attention to how a pairing has produced before, and back every puppy with a three year written guarantee that covers genetic and congenital conditions including spinal, hip, and elbow problems. Our veterinarian from Danville Veterinary Clinic is in the kennels weekly on a set schedule, looking at both the adults and the newborn litters.

You will find breeders closer to Rochester or the Hudson Valley than we are. What you get by coming to us is the whole picture on both parent breeds, buildings with heated floors in winter and geothermal cooling in summer, the Early Neurological Stimulation protocol run on every puppy from day 3 through day 16, and daily handling by our kids before a puppy ever gets in a van. Crate and potty training start here too, which is worth something when you are bringing a puppy into a walk-up.

Mini Doxiedoodle FAQs Of New York Families

Q: Will a Mini Doxiedoodle do all right in a New York City apartment?

A: Yes, and the size is only part of why. They need 30 to 45 minutes of activity a day, which a couple of walks and some indoor play covers easily, and they respond well to puzzle toys and scent games that tire them out without needing a yard. The thing to plan for is the noise. This cross is vocal and will announce the hallway, the elevator, and the delivery driver, so if you share thin walls it is worth working on a quiet cue early.

Q: What does it cost to get a puppy to New York?

A: The puppy itself runs $1,495 to $2,995 depending on coat, color, and gender. Ground delivery to any New York address is a flat $350. Flight nanny service is quoted per flight since it depends on the airport and the day, so call us for a number on that. Farm pickup in Ohio costs nothing beyond your gas.

Q: Are they good for someone with allergies?

A: No dog is fully hypoallergenic, so we will not tell you otherwise. What this cross has is a low-shedding coat that holds loose hair instead of dropping it around the apartment, which means less dander moving through the air. That is often enough for mild or moderate allergies and often not enough for severe ones. F1b puppies carry more Poodle and usually have the tightest curl and the lowest shedding, and spending time with a puppy is the only way to know for sure.

Q: We live in a third floor walk-up. Is that a problem for their backs?

A: It is worth thinking about. Dachshunds are prone to disc disease and a puppy that inherits the long low build carries some of that predisposition, while one that takes the Poodle's more square frame carries less. Carry the puppy on stairs while it is young, use ramps for the couch and bed, keep the dog lean, and walk on a harness instead of a collar. Ask us about the specific parents behind a puppy you are interested in and what that pairing has produced before.

Q: How do they handle upstate winters?

A: The coat is wavy to curly rather than heavy, and short legs and deep lake effect snow are not a great combination, so most owners in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Watertown put a coat on the dog and keep winter walks short. Mental work carries a lot of the load in January. A training session or a hide-and-treat game in the living room will settle them as well as a long walk would.

Q: Can we come see the kennel before we buy?

A: You are welcome to. Visits are by appointment Monday through Saturday, and you can meet the puppy and its mother while you are here. The father is sometimes not on site if we used an outside stud for the pairing. From Buffalo it is about five hours each way, so most families downstate do a FaceTime call instead and let us bring the puppy to them.
