Teddy Bear Puppies for Sale in Arizona
Families looking at Teddy Bear puppies for sale in Arizona are usually shopping outside their own state, since very few small hybrid programs out west own and test their own parent dogs. Ours are raised in east-central Ohio by The Puppy Lodge, a family program that has been working with this Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise cross for more than thirteen years. Every parent dog is owned by us, genetically tested, and picked for temperament and health before any pairing happens.
Arizona sits about 27 to 33 hours of driving from our farm, so almost every puppy heading there flies with a nanny instead of riding in a van. Most of those handoffs happen at Sky Harbor in Phoenix, and the puppy is usually home with the family the same day it leaves Ohio.
Available Teddy Bear Puppies for Arizona Families
Every puppy listed below is ready to reserve right now. Prices start at $1,995 and change with color, coat type, and gender. The deposit is $200, and financing runs through Credova if you would rather spread the cost out. We do not keep a waitlist, so a puppy that catches your eye can be claimed by someone else the same afternoon. Upcoming litters are posted too, which lets you hold a pick before the puppies are born.
Each one goes home at eight weeks or older with a three-year written health guarantee, a microchip, current vaccinations and dewormings, a vet exam from Danville Veterinary Clinic, registration paperwork, a bag of food, and a blanket that smells like their mother. We deliver to every corner of Arizona, and we sort out the how of it on a phone call after you reserve.

Puppy Delivery to Arizona
There are three ways to get your puppy from Ohio to Arizona, and we talk through them by phone once a puppy is yours.
Flight nanny. This is what we recommend for Arizona families. A trained handler carries the puppy in an airline-approved soft carrier under the seat in front of her, never in cargo, and meets you at baggage claim with photos and videos from the whole trip. Most of these are same-day. Phoenix Sky Harbor gets the most direct service from Ohio, and we also fly into Tucson International and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. Flagstaff Pulliam works for families up north, though it usually means a connection. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under 20 pounds with the carrier, which no Teddy Bear comes close to, and we arrange the health certificate before travel. Cost is quoted per flight since airfare moves around.
Ground delivery. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate-controlled van, currently $450 flat to any Arizona address. Vans leave Ohio on Tuesday mornings, and a western run like this takes two to three days depending on the route. You get real-time updates while the puppy is on the road, and nobody has to drive to an airport. It costs less than flying, and it makes sense if your schedule is flexible.
Farm pickup. You are welcome to come to Fresno, Ohio by appointment, meet the puppy's mother, walk the kennel, and go through the paperwork with us in person. For Arizona that is a long haul each way, so most families skip it, but the door is open if you were already planning a trip east.
One note specific to this breed. Teddy Bears have a slightly shortened muzzle from the Shih Tzu side, which means heat is worth thinking about. Summer arrivals in Phoenix and Tucson get scheduled for early morning or evening handoffs so the puppy is not sitting in a parking lot at two in the afternoon, and the in-cabin flight keeps the puppy in air conditioning the entire way.

Teddy Bear Puppy Breeder Serving Arizona Families
We are a Teddy Bear puppy breeder serving Arizona from a five-acre farm in Coshocton County, Ohio, owned and run by the Nisley family. Litters are raised across a small closed group of local kennels near us, all of them working only with Puppy Lodge dogs and following our health testing and breeding standards. The buildings have heated tile floors for winter and geothermal cooling for summer, with separate rooms where mothers whelp and stay with their puppies through the early weeks. Our vet from Danville Veterinary Clinic comes out weekly on a set schedule.
Buying from two-thirds of the way across the country only makes sense if you get something you cannot get closer to home, and for us that is the testing behind the pairing. Both breeds behind the cross are screened before we breed, including for the eye and joint issues that show up in a lot of small dogs. Every puppy runs the ENS protocol from day three through day sixteen, which builds early stress tolerance and matters for a breed that bonds as hard as this one does. Our kids handle the puppies daily, and potty and crate work starts before go-home. If you want the full picture of the breed first, our Teddy Bear puppy guide covers what to expect before one comes home.
