Miniature Poodles are a smart pick too since their dense, curly coat provides solid insulation and they adapt quickly to seasonal changes. Fluffy French Bulldogs are primarily indoor companions, so Wisconsin winters aren't an issue for them at all. They're happy curled up next to you on the couch while it's snowing outside.
