Delivery to San Diego
With about 34 hours between us, farm pickup is not practical for San Diego, so the choice is between ground delivery and a flight nanny. California is in our $450 ground delivery tier. A professional transport service leaves Fresno on a Tuesday morning and drives the puppy to your door in a climate-controlled van, usually in 2 to 3 days. There is no airport trip, and each puppy rides in its own carrier with updates along the way.
For a faster trip, San Diego International Airport (SAN) sits only about 3.5 miles from downtown, so a flight nanny can hand off your puppy at baggage claim and you can be home soon after. The puppy must be at least 8 weeks old and under 20 lbs with its carrier. The flight nanny is quoted per flight, so call us for a price.
We suggest the flight nanny for San Diego families who want the puppy home the same day, and ground delivery for everyone else. The Puppy Delivery page explains each option.
From our farm to San Diego: about 2,350 miles, about 34 hours of driving. The route follows I-70, I-44, I-40 and I-8 west across Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona into California.
Teddy Bear Breeder Serving San Diego
A breeder this far from California has to earn trust from a distance. We own every parent dog, and each one was chosen for temperament and health before it was tested. A veterinarian from Danville Veterinary Clinic visits the kennels every week to check the adult dogs and new litters. Each puppy also goes home with a written three-year guarantee against genetic and congenital problems, hips and elbows included.
Families in San Diego are welcome to ask us anything about the pairing, the puppy's size or the trip west. Call or text us at 330-790-5007.
