A Fluffy Frenchie Made for New Hampshire Life

Whether it's Manchester, Nashua, or a small town up in the mountains, a Fluffy Frenchie is at home anywhere in New Hampshire. These are homebodies, content with a short walk and a warm place to curl up afterward. They don't need a big yard or much exercise, just your company and a place at your side. For a family that wants a devoted, easygoing companion, a Frenchie is a great fit.

What Makes a Fluffy Frenchie Special

A Fluffy Frenchie is exactly what the name suggests: a French Bulldog with a long, silky coat instead of the short one. That extra fluff comes from a single recessive gene, and because it's rare and most breeders don't test for it, true fluffies stay uncommon. In every other respect it's 100% Frenchie, with the same compact build and the same big, affectionate personality. We test our dogs, so we know from the start which puppies will be fluffy.

Getting Your Puppy Home to New Hampshire

The drive from our Ohio farm to New Hampshire is a long one, but getting your puppy home is simple, and we do it all the time. You have three ways to go about it.

Flight nanny — the option most New Hampshire families choose. A nanny carries your puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo. The state's own airport, Manchester-Boston Regional (MHT), is the most convenient landing, and many families just south use Boston Logan (BOS), which has nonstop flights from Columbus and sits under an hour from the state line. Either way, the puppy is in good hands the whole trip.

Ground delivery — a professional pet transport company can drive your puppy right to your door in a climate-controlled vehicle, anywhere in New Hampshire.

Farm pickup — you're always welcome to come meet the parents and take your puppy home yourself. You can drive in, or fly into one of three nearby airports and make a short trip out to the farm: Akron-Canton is about an hour and 20 minutes away, Columbus about an hour and a half, and Pittsburgh about two hours. Just set up a time with us first.

Big Mountains, Four Real Seasons

The Granite State is home to Mount Washington, famous for some of the worst weather on earth, with hurricane-force winds and a chill that lasts most of the year. Your Fluffy Frenchie will never have to deal with any of that. Down where people actually live, in Concord, Keene, and the towns around the lakes, New Hampshire is a straightforward four-season place: cold snowy winters, warm summers, and a fall worth stepping outside for.

Winter is the one to plan around. Real snow piles up, often several feet of it, and a Frenchie's short coat doesn't hold up long in that kind of cold. Keep winter walks quick, put an extra layer on them, and let the deep-freeze days be spent indoors where it's cozy. Most fluffies are more than happy with that arrangement.

Summers are warm and green, and aside from the occasional hot, sticky stretch, they're comfortable for getting out together. Spring and fall are better still, especially those crisp, colorful days it's known for. A walk along the Merrimack River or an easy loop through a state park is plenty for a Frenchie, no rush required.

FAQs Of New Hampshire Families

Q:Are Fluffy Frenchies real French Bulldogs?

A:Yes, 100%. The only difference is the longer, soft coat that comes from one gene both parents carry.

Q:How much do Fluffy Frenchies cost?

A:Fluffies cost more than standard Frenchies because they're rare. Ours range from $2,800 to $6,000, depending on color and looks. Financing is available.

Q:Is my deposit refundable?

A:A $200 deposit holds your puppy. The deposit is non-refundable, because once you reserve a puppy, we take it off the market for other families. If something comes up, we'll work with you to move your deposit to another available puppy.

Q:How does delivery to New Hampshire work?

A:New Hampshire is a good way from our Ohio farm, so most families choose a flight nanny, who flies with your puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, into Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT), or into Boston Logan (BOS) just over the state line, which has nonstop service from Columbus. A specialized pet transport service can also drive your puppy right to your door in a climate-controlled vehicle, or you're welcome to pick up at the farm in person.

Q:Do Fluffy Frenchies need a lot of grooming?

A:Less than their coat might suggest. A quick brush a few times a week keeps the longer fur from tangling, with a bit more attention during seasonal shedding in spring and fall. They don't need professional grooming or fancy trims, just regular brushing, the occasional bath, and the usual nail and ear care any dog needs. For the look they have, they're pretty low-maintenance.

Q:When can my puppy come home?

A:The earliest a puppy can go home is 8 weeks old. That gives them enough time with their mom and littermates to grow strong and start life confident.

Q:What comes with my puppy?

A:Every puppy goes home vet-checked, up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped, with health records, a small bag of the food they've been eating, and our written 3-year health guarantee.
