Fluffy Frenchie Puppies for Sale in Vermont From a Genetics-Tested Program
Our Fluffy Frenchie puppies for sale in Vermont are long-coated French Bulldogs from The Puppy Lodge, the program our family runs in Coshocton County, Ohio. Each puppy is purebred, and apart from its silky, medium-length coat it looks like any other Frenchie, with bat ears and a sturdy, low-set build. Most grow to between 16 and 28 pounds, and they tend to be playful, affectionate dogs who are happiest in the same room as their people.
Vermont is about a 10 to 13 hour drive from our kennel. Home delivery by van covers that distance, and flying is an option too. Take a look at our current puppies and upcoming Fluffy Frenchie litters to see who is open.
Fluffy Frenchie Listings, Deposits, and Litter Picks for Vermont
You can check out online for any puppy shown below. The lowest price we list is $2,895. From there, each puppy's color, gender, and genetics decide its price. To hold a puppy, you put down a $200 deposit. It is not returned if you decide not to go ahead, but it can go toward any other unreserved puppy.
Since there is no waitlist, whoever completes a reservation first takes the puppy home. Upcoming litters show up here as well, and putting a deposit down on one reserves an early pick for you. We are glad to video chat over FaceTime and show you a puppy at play before paying. Financing is also possible through Credova if you apply on their site. Any puppy you reserve here can be brought the whole way to Vermont.
Choosing a Delivery Plan for a Vermont Puppy
After the deposit goes through, a quick phone call with us settles which of the three options below you will use. Every puppy goes home with a supply of the food it already eats, which makes the switch easier, plus a blanket carrying its mother's smell. Because of the breed's flat face, our puppies ride only in a temperature-controlled van or in the cabin of a plane, never in cargo.
The Van to Your Vermont Door (What We Suggest)
Home delivery is what we recommend across most of Vermont, and it is the most requested of our three options. It saves you a drive to the airport, which can be a long one in a state whose main airport is up in Burlington. Professional pet transport drivers make the trip in a custom-built van kept at a comfortable temperature. Your puppy has a vet checkup first, then travels in its own carrier while the driver keeps in touch with you.
The van leaves Fresno early Tuesday, and like our other East Coast deliveries, a Vermont puppy usually arrives the next day. The fee runs around $350 and stays the same for every town in the state.
Nanny Flights Into Burlington or a Nearby Airport
Flying is faster, and most nanny trips finish on the day they start. A trained handler flies with your puppy in the passenger cabin, and the puppy rides the whole way in a soft carrier stowed under the seat. The handler sends photos and video during the trip and meets you at baggage claim for the handoff. Burlington International (BTV) is the main airport in Vermont and the best fit for the northern and central parts of the state. Rutland's airport only has small Cape Air flights to Boston, so southern Vermont is usually better served by an airport across the state line, which we cover in the questions below.
For a nanny flight, the puppy has to be eight weeks or older, and its weight plus the carrier's has to stay below 20 pounds. A licensed veterinarian also issues a health certificate before it flies. Each trip gets its own quote and runs higher than van delivery. Northeast winter storms can hold up a flight, so be ready for a possible change of date.
Picking Up at Our Kennel in Ohio
Pickup by appointment is always an option. At the kennel you get to meet the mother and see where the puppies are raised, and we go over the vaccination paperwork, the microchip details, and the guarantee. Coming from Vermont, this means a full day behind the wheel in each direction, so it fits best when you already plan to be in Ohio or want to make a trip of it.

DNA Results First: Our Approach as a Fluffy Frenchie Breeder Serving Vermont
Several states sit between our kennel and Vermont, and a New England breeder might be an easier drive for you. Our Fluffy Frenchie litters are planned around the coat from the start. Long hair in Frenchies is a recessive trait, which means a puppy needs the long-hair gene from both its dam and its sire. Before any dog in the program is bred, we DNA test its coat, furnishings, and eye color genes. Those results tell us which matches will give fluffy puppies and what colors a litter might carry. Health screening is part of choosing parents too, and we look for sound bodies and open nostrils as well. No test finds every issue, but this screening cuts the odds of an inherited problem by a wide margin. For the first three years, a written guarantee from us protects your puppy against genetic and congenital conditions. Trouble with the hips or elbows is part of that coverage.
We have spent more than 13 years raising dogs as a family. We own all of the Fluffy Frenchie parents ourselves, and an outside stud only comes in after passing identical tests. A share of the litters are born at the kennel where we started in Fresno. Other litters are raised by local breeders who belong to our closed network. They care for our dogs only and meet the same rules for testing and daily care that we use.
Since the breed overheats easily, every building where our dogs live is held at a steady temperature through every season. The tile floors are warmed from below in winter, and in summer geothermal cooling keeps the rooms comfortable. Our veterinarian from Danville Veterinary Clinic comes out every week on a fixed schedule to look over the grown dogs and any new puppies. Early Neurological Stimulation, known here as our Super Dog Program, begins on day three and gives each puppy a few short exercises for about two weeks. Our kids also hold, carry, and play with the puppies each day. We get crate and potty training going early, and no puppy leaves us younger than 8 weeks.
