Farm pickup — you're always welcome to come meet the parents and take your puppy home yourself. You can drive in, or fly into one of three nearby airports and make a short trip out to the farm: Akron-Canton is about an hour and 20 minutes away, Columbus about an hour and a half, and Pittsburgh about two hours. North Dakota does winter harder than just about anywhere. This is often the coldest state in the country, and what makes it so punishing isn't only the temperature, it's the wind. The land is flat and open for a hundred miles, so the wind builds up speed and drives the cold right through everything, with wind chills that fall far below what the thermometer shows.
