The Puppy Lodge sends Fluffy Frenchie puppies for sale in Minnesota north and west from our kennel in Fresno, Ohio, about 80 miles east of Columbus. These are purebred French Bulldogs whose mother and father each passed along a long-hair gene. They are built like any Frenchie, with a thick little frame and upright bat ears, but their silky coat grows to roughly two or three times what a smooth Frenchie carries. Our puppies tend to be cuddly and easygoing, and they would rather sit on the couch next to you than anywhere else.

Photos and a price come with every puppy shown below, and the reservation and payment are done through our website. Pricing opens at $2,895 for our Fluffy Frenchies, with the exact figure depending on color, gender, and genetics. A $200 deposit locks in your puppy. The deposit is not refundable, though we are glad to shift it to another puppy that has not been claimed.
Reservations are first come, first served with no waitlist, so a puppy can be gone within hours of being listed. Litters that are still on the way are posted too, which lets you claim a spot early. Financing is offered through Credova, and we are happy to do a FaceTime call so you can see how a puppy walks and plays before you decide. Delivery is available to every corner of Minnesota.

We plan your puppy's trip with you on a phone call after the reservation. For most Minnesota families we point to home delivery, since the puppy is dropped off at your house and the fee is the same no matter where in the state you live.
The Van, Our Default for Minnesota
Your puppy travels door to door with a professional pet transport service. Their custom van stays climate controlled for the full drive, which is important for a Frenchie since the short face makes it harder for them to handle temperature swings. A vet checks each puppy before the trip. Every puppy travels in a separate carrier, and the transport team sends updates as the van moves. Delivery anywhere in Minnesota runs around $450.
Minnesota runs start with a Tuesday morning departure from Fresno. Your arrival day depends on where your address lands on that week's route, and we will tell you what to expect before the van leaves.
Nanny Flights to MSP, Duluth, Rochester, or Fargo
The quicker choice is a flight nanny, a trained handler who carries your puppy aboard a regular passenger flight. The puppy spends the flight in a soft-sided carrier below the seat in front of the handler. We never ship a Frenchie in cargo, and many airlines will not take flat-faced dogs there at all. Photos and short videos come in while they travel, you meet the handler at baggage claim, and most trips are wrapped up in one day.
Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) offers the most flights. Duluth International (DLH) is handy for the North Shore and the Arrowhead, and Rochester International (RST) is close for families in the southeast. In Moorhead and the Red River Valley, Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo, North Dakota, is often the shortest drive. To fly, your puppy must be at least 8 weeks of age, the puppy plus carrier must come in under 20 pounds, and a licensed vet has to sign a health certificate, which we arrange. We quote every nanny trip on its own, and it comes out higher than the van.
Pickup in Fresno as Part of a Longer Trip
Picking up at the kennel is also an option, by appointment. You can say hello to the mom, tour the buildings, and go through the vaccination history, microchip registration, and health guarantee face to face. From Minnesota that is a long drive in each direction, so pickup works best if you were already planning a trip to Ohio.

Fluffy Frenchie Puppy Breeder Serving Minnesota: How Our Litters Are Planned
Our family has raised dogs for 13 years and counting, and The Puppy Lodge owns all of the parent dogs in our Fluffy Frenchie program. An outside stud is used only when it has passed identical testing. A number of our litters arrive at the original Fresno kennel. Others come from a handful of nearby kennels in our closed network, where the breeders house only our dogs and are held to the health and genetic testing we require.
Plenty of Frenchie breeders sit closer to Minnesota than we do, so we want you to see how our pairings are planned. The long coat is recessive, and a puppy grows it only after picking up the gene from both sides. We DNA test both dogs for furnishings, eye color, and coat length before they are ever matched, which shows us ahead of the litter whether a fluffy coat is on the table and which colors we might see. Health screening is part of it too, along with picking parents whose nostrils are open and whose build is sound. Screening will never catch everything, but it does cut down the chances of a puppy inheriting a problem. Every puppy is also backed for three years by our written health guarantee, which takes in genetic and congenital conditions along with hip and elbow problems.
Frenchies do poorly in heat, so our dogs live indoors with climate control all year. In winter the tile floors are heated, and in summer a geothermal system keeps the rooms cool. Danville Veterinary Clinic makes weekly visits to examine the adults and the newborn litters. Starting on day three, each puppy gets about two weeks of early neurological stimulation through what we call the Super Dog Program, and our kids spend part of every day holding and playing with the litters. Puppies leave at 8 weeks or later. By then they are microchipped, their vaccines and dewormings are current, and they are already learning potty and crate routines.
