Fluffy Frenchie Puppies for Sale in Indiana, Just Across the Ohio Line

Our Fluffy Frenchie puppies for sale in Indiana are raised by The Puppy Lodge near Fresno, Ohio, only one state line away. These are purebred French Bulldogs, and each puppy inherited the long-hair gene from its mom and again from its dad. That gives it a soft, silky coat on the usual compact Frenchie body, with the tall bat ears and easygoing, affectionate personality that come with the breed.

Because Indiana sits right next to Ohio, getting a puppy home is simple. Towns on the eastern edge of the state are about 3 hours from our kennel, and the southwest corner near Evansville runs closer to 7. For much of the state, driving over to get your puppy yourself is an easy option. You can browse who is ready now on our Fluffy Frenchie puppies page.

Fluffy Frenchie Litters Open to Indiana Families

Each listing below has photos and a price, and the whole purchase happens online. Prices begin at $2,895. Color, gender, and genetics decide how much higher a given puppy goes.

Reserving takes a $200 deposit. We do not give that money back, but we can switch it to any other puppy that is still open. There is no waitlist here, so a puppy goes to whichever family puts down a deposit first. Upcoming litters are posted too, and a pick from one can be held before the puppies are born.

Ask us for a FaceTime call and we will show you a puppy up close before you commit. Financing is available from Credova, and you apply online. Every puppy here can come home with you from our kennel or be delivered anywhere in Indiana.

Indiana Pickup and Delivery for Our Fluffy Frenchies

After you reserve, we set up a phone call to decide how your puppy gets home. For most of Indiana, our suggestion is to come get your puppy in person. The drive is short enough that paying for a flight rarely makes sense.

Picking Up in Person, Our Pick for Most of Indiana

Just book a time with us and drive over to Fresno. During your visit you can meet your puppy's mom, see the kennel, and look through the vaccine history, the microchip paperwork, and the guarantee with us in person. Families in eastern and central Indiana can usually do the whole trip in one day. From the Evansville area it makes for a long day behind the wheel, so some families stay overnight or go with delivery.

Home Delivery by Climate-Controlled Van

When the drive does not work for your schedule, a professional pet transport company will bring the puppy straight to your house. The fee is around $350 for any Indiana address. The vans roll out of Fresno each Tuesday morning, and on our call we will tell you roughly when to expect yours. Before the trip, a vet looks your puppy over. It travels in a carrier by itself, and the driver sends you updates as they go.

Flight Nanny Into IND, Fort Wayne, South Bend, or Evansville

Here a trained handler boards a commercial flight with your puppy and keeps it close the whole way. It rides in a soft, airline-approved bag tucked under the seat in front of them. Indianapolis International (IND) is the biggest airport in the state, and Fort Wayne International (FWA), South Bend International (SBN), and Evansville Regional (EVV) also have airline service. The handoff happens at baggage claim, and most of these trips are done in a single day. You get a separate quote for each flight, and it runs higher than the van fee.

Puppies can fly once they are 8 weeks old, as long as the puppy and its carrier together weigh less than 20 pounds. A licensed vet also has to examine the puppy and write a health certificate, and bad weather can push the date back. Frenchies have flat faces and do not handle heat or cargo holds well. That is why ours only fly in the cabin and only ride in a climate-controlled van or your own car on the ground.

A Nearby Fluffy Frenchie Puppy Breeder for Indiana Families

Since we are just a few hours from Indiana, you are welcome to visit the kennel before or after you reserve. We have spent over 13 years raising dogs, and we own each mother and father behind our Fluffy Frenchies. Any outside stud we bring in is tested the same way. A share of our litters arrive at the Fresno kennel where we started. The others grow up with a small, closed group of local breeders near us, who raise only our dogs and hold to our health and breeding rules.

Long hair is a recessive trait, so a puppy only grows it when the mother and the father each pass along a long-hair copy. Before any pairing, we DNA test the parents for coat, eye color, and furnishings genes. The results show us whether fluffy puppies are possible and which colors a litter might have. Our program has common colors like cream, brindle, and blue, plus rarer lilac, chocolate, and merle. We health screen the parents as well and pick breeding dogs with good structure and wide nostrils. No test can promise a puppy will never have a problem, but screening makes one much less likely. Every puppy also comes with our written health guarantee. It runs for three years on genetic and congenital conditions, and hip and elbow problems fall under it as well.

The buildings across our network are heated through tile floors in winter and cooled by a geothermal system in summer. When a puppy is three days old, it starts our Super Dog Program, a few quick exercises each day that give its nervous system a gentle early workout. Our kids play with the puppies every day. Potty and crate training get going before they leave. Puppies stay with us until they are at least 8 weeks old, and our Danville Veterinary Clinic vet stops in every week to check on them and the adults. Grooming and daily life with the breed are covered in our Fluffy French Bulldog breed guide.

Fluffy Frenchie FAQs Of Indiana Families

Q: We live in Clarksville near Louisville. Is there an airport closer than Indianapolis?

A: Yes. Louisville Muhammad Ali International (SDF) is just across the Ohio River and is the closest large airport for Clark and Floyd counties. We can plan a flight nanny trip into SDF if that is easier for you. For most of southern Indiana, though, ground delivery to your door is simpler and costs less.

Q: What should we bring when we drive over to pick up our puppy?

A: Bring a small crate or carrier that can be buckled in, a few old towels, and a water bowl. We send each puppy off with some of its current food and a small blanket carrying its mother's scent, which helps it settle in the car. On a longer drive back, plan a short stop partway so the puppy can stretch and drink.

Q: Can we take our Fluffy Frenchie to the Indiana Dunes?

A: Several beaches in Indiana Dunes National Park allow dogs on a six-foot leash, and the state park allows leashed dogs on part of its beach. Lifeguarded swim areas have limits in summer, so check the current rules before you go. A cool morning or evening is the best time for a visit. Afterward, brush the sand out of the longer hair on the ears and chest before it tangles.

Q: Are Fluffy Frenchies a good fit with young kids?

A: Most do very well. They are sturdy little dogs, not fragile, and they tend to be social and patient with children. Our own kids handle the puppies every day, so they are used to small hands before they leave. Teach children not to pick a puppy up without help, since Frenchies are heavier than they look.
