A Fluffy Frenchie Made for Georgia Life

Most Georgians live somewhere in metro Atlanta, and a Fluffy Frenchie is right at home there, whether that's a Midtown condo, a place in Buckhead, or a subdivision out in the suburbs. They're small, calm dogs that don't need much space or exercise, just a short walk and a comfortable spot beside you. That easygoing nature makes them a fine fit for a busy city, a quiet suburb, or a small town anywhere in the state.

What Makes a Fluffy Frenchie Special

A Fluffy Frenchie is a French Bulldog with a longer, softer coat than the short one most people know. Everything else is exactly what makes the breed such a favorite: the squished face, the perky ears, and a warm, playful personality packed into a small body. The long coat comes from a single gene that both parents must carry, and since hardly any breeders test for it, a true fluffy is a rare thing to find. We test our dogs, so we know which puppies in a litter will be fluffy from the very beginning.

Getting Your Puppy Home to Georgia

Our farm is in Ohio, a comfortable distance from Georgia, and we've made getting your puppy home simple. You have three ways to do it.

Flight nanny — a popular pick for Georgia families. A nanny flies with your puppy in the cabin into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) or Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). Your puppy is never shipped alone in cargo.

Ground delivery — a professional pet transport company drives your puppy right to your door in a climate-controlled vehicle, from the Atlanta suburbs to the coast.

Farm pickup — you're always welcome to visit the farm by appointment, meet the parents, and take your puppy home yourself.

Raising a Frenchie in Georgia

Georgia weather is easy on a dog for most of the year, with one season that calls for real care: summer.

Summers are long, hot, and humid across the whole state, and that humidity is what matters most for a flat-faced dog, since damp air makes it much harder for them to cool themselves down by panting. Through the hottest months, keep your Frenchie in the air conditioning during the day, save walks for early morning or the evening, and always keep water close by. One nice thing about Atlanta in particular is its famous tree cover, so there's plenty of shade to walk in once the temperature drops a bit.

Winters, by contrast, ask almost nothing of you. Across most of Georgia the cold is mild and brief, snow is rare, and a light sweater on the occasional chilly morning is about all your Frenchie will want. Only up in the north Georgia foothills does winter carry any bite, and even there it's easy to manage.

That leaves a long stretch of gorgeous weather in spring and fall, when Georgia is a joy for a dog. You could spend a morning on the Atlanta BeltLine, wander Piedmont Park, or take a slow walk beneath the live oaks of Forsyth Park down in Savannah.

FAQs Of Georgia Families

Q:Are Fluffy Frenchies real French Bulldogs?

A:Yes, 100%. The only difference is the longer, soft coat that comes from one gene both parents carry.

Q:How much do Fluffy Frenchies cost?

A:Fluffies cost more than standard Frenchies because they're rare. Ours range from $2,800 to $6,000, depending on color and looks. Financing is available.

Q:Is my deposit refundable?

A:A $200 deposit holds your puppy. The deposit is non-refundable, because once you reserve a puppy, we take it off the market for other families. If something comes up, we'll work with you to move your deposit to another available puppy.

Q:Are Frenchies a good fit for an Atlanta condo or apartment?

A:They're a great fit. Frenchies are small and low-energy, and they tend to be quiet, so metro living in a condo or apartment suits them well. A daily walk and your company are really all they ask for.

Q:Can a Frenchie handle Georgia's summer heat?

A:Yes, with sensible care. It's the mugginess rather than the temperature that's tough on a short-nosed dog, so lean on the AC during the hottest hours, walk in the cooler morning or evening, and never leave them in a parked car.

Q:When can my puppy come home?

A:The earliest a puppy can go home is 8 weeks old. That gives them enough time with their mom and littermates to grow strong and start life confident.

Q:What comes with my puppy?

A:Every puppy goes home vet-checked, up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped, with health records, a small bag of the food they've been eating, and our written 3-year health guarantee.
