Pomskies and Miniature Poodles also thrive in four-season climates and adapt well to both houses and smaller spaces. Fluffy French Bulldogs are a great pick for apartment living in the city since they're primarily indoor dogs and don't need a huge yard to stay happy. You'll meet the parent dogs, walk through the kennel, and spend real time with the puppies. A:Pickup day is one of our favorite parts of this whole process. You'll spend time with the litter, and your puppy will already know your voice if you've been on a video call with us before. We'll walk you through the go-home kit, answer every last-minute question, and make sure you feel ready. For the drive back, bring a crate or a lap partner, stop every couple of hours for a potty break, and skip the big meal right before the car ride. A calm puppy belly makes for a much smoother trip home.

A:New York families are close, about 5 hours from the western part of the state and closer to 8 from the city, and a lot of them drive out and make a day of it. Here's what you'd find. We're a family of nine, five girls, two boys, and two parents, raising puppies on five acres in the rolling hills of Central Ohio for more than 13 years. Our kids are in the whelping room and the play yard every day, so puppies leave here having been held and played with since birth. The kennel has heated tile floors in winter and geothermal cooling in summer and has been remodeled several times over the years. We're certified through the Purdue University Canine Care Program, which means Purdue's veterinary team inspects our facility and our breeding practices, and our own vet from Danville Veterinary Clinic comes weekly. Every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation between days 3 and 16, and every parent dog is health and genetic tested.
